WANTED bass player for possible fill in gigs

- Pretty busy 'dance and party' cover band (in our 50's) looking for a pretty good bass player, who can learn relatively fast, to fill in for gigs when our regular guys are not available...We just hate giving up gigs.......They are not easy to get. Nothing too advanced...all the usual overplayed covers....That's why we're so busy...lol. Looking for someone that doesn't need charts for every single song on stage...(i.e. no binders) We're past that. Age does not matter. Might be one gig a year...might be one gig a month.....who knows.... In another band already? No problem. Let us borrow you. We wont tell....lol We play the songs at a 'reasonably high level', close to the original recordings mostly. However, for bass, there is no need to be that specific! To the rock stars out there, that have not played many gigs before: Gigs in Victoria pay about $100 each person! (in case you didn't know) (and, don't spend it all in one place) ya 'gottawannaplay'.....We do this for fun. Interested? And, you don't take yourself too, too seriously? And, in the spirit of improvement, can take constructive, positive criticism as well as giving us some of the same? We'd love it. Tell us a story..... Thanks. Cheers
