This nesting box was built with the Northern Flicker in mind but it is suitable for all native woodpeckers. Flickers will use nest boxes for night roosts in winter, so putting a box out now will increase the chances of getting a nesting pair in the spring. I have one roosting in my box right now. Made with one inch western red cedar.
