Available March 1 - Near Brentwood Bay - Self-contained small cabin for a single person on 2-acre hobby farm with large deck. This adorable cabin has a custom kitchen with full-sized fridge and double sink, as well as its own washer/dryer and small storage space. The bathroom has a shower, sink and Air Head brand composting toilet. You'll have a view of the back pasture and the resident sheep, geese and turkeys. We've also got chickens, two dogs, and tons of fruit and vegetable gardens. If you're interested, we can probably find some garden space for you to grow your own veggies. The rent is $1250 per month, plus $100/month for utilities. Included is electricity, water and internet. The range and dryer both run on propane, so you'll be responsible for that cost (usually about $80-100 twice per year). You'll also be provided with a single parking spot. This cabin is small and only suitable for a single individual. We don't allow pets, as we've got a lot of livestock and our own dogs. Also, there is no smoking anywhere on the property. We live on a quiet road surrounded by other small farms, so we'd like to find a quiet and respectful tenant. You will likely hear roosters crowing, geese honking, and turkeys gobbling from time to time, so if you don't mind farm animal noises, you'll fit right in.
