Tuesday, April 23, 2024 Location: Victoria Proper and Greater Victoria I would like to introduce myself, Nathan Durant, as a prospective tenant at your domicile. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of developing a landlord-tenant relationship with you. A little bit about me: I am an aspiring entrepreneur, enrolled in undergraduate studies at Camosun Colleges’ Interurban campus. I grew up in the Comox Valley and have spent the last few years living in Edmonton, Alberta. During that time I was renting a basement suite off of an acquaintance of mine I met on the island in my late teens. They had moved to Alberta to work the oilfield and operated a large vac truck. The arrangement was perfect for a couple years until they got into drugs, at which point our landlord tenant relationship deteriorated. The house, which was older, built in the 1960s, had some plumbing and wiring issues and when repairs were needed they refused to have them done. They started partying in the house on their days off and our friendship completely deteriorated as I am a healthy, substance free, pro-social person. I needed a lifestyle change and so after analyzing my life and re-prioritizing-I moved to Victoria for school and am looking forward to settling down in Victoria. Hobbies include; jogging; hiking; cycling; swimming; weight training; drawing; song-writing; reading and gaming. While I do vape, I vape responsibly and always outdoors. I don’t smoke. As I mentioned, I am substance free, (including marijuana). I have no pets. Why you should choose me: I am respectful, financially responsible, mature and a very clean tenant that is looking for an affordable long term rental that will optimize my finances and enable me to accomplish several of my financial goals more quickly.
