JVC FS-1000 Ultra Compact Component CD System Overall, this system is in good condition, except the cd transport does not function. Therefore, including a Sony disc-man which works perfectly when connected to AUX input of the JVC. The speakers do have a nice marble-like pattern in a dark grey finish. Speaker connections are spring clips on both the speakers and main unit, both speakers work perfectly. Connections on the main unit also include RCA jacks for subwoofer out, Aux In, Line Out; Toslink optical digital out; AM/FM antennas spring clips. This is a great sounding unit, particularly for its size.
