Position: Early Childhood Educator Positions : 1 part time - 3 days/week Hours required: 24 hour per week Times: 8:00-4:00 Start date: November 1st, 2021 Location: 1238 Knute Way, Brentwood Bay. Pay: $28.00/hour, plus benefits and potential free or discounted childcare Just Peachy Child Care is looking for one fantastic part time time Early Childhood Educator or Infant toddler Educator to join our new team! We are searching for the perfect, energetic person that will guide and stimulate young minds through daily indoor and outdoor play-based activities; who will bring natural elements into our cozy indoor facility and ensure quality child-led outdoor time. Requirements: Infant Toddler Certificate or an experienced Infant toddler Educator. BC License to Practice as an Early Childhood Educator and I/T Clear Criminal Record Check will be conducted First Aid Certificate Minimum two reference letters Job Duties: Follow Just Peachy Child Care’s philosophy Develop and implement activities in our early childhood setting for children under the age of 36 months. Ensure that all children are treated with respect and that the program meets their individual developmental needs. Adhere to BC Child Care Regulations Daily communication with parents regarding various aspects of care for their children. Attend to daily housekeeping of the centre Must be able to work as an individual and within an team to deliver an exciting and enriching program.
