Montessori ECE

Maria Montessori Academy is a preschool through Gr 12 Montessori school located in the Gordon Head area of Victoria. We boast a thriving community of 300 learners and a vibrant staff. We are currently seeking certified Montessori ECE Director/Directress(es) to join our team in October 2021 The successful candidates will be joining a team of experienced educators and working directly with 3/4 year olds in a classroom for preschool and kindergarten children. The ideal candidate is Montessori trained, able to co-teach effectively, and is available on full time basis for the entirety of the 2021/2022 school year. Qualifications: - Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, MACTE or equivalent) - ECE certification - Current First Aid or willingness to acquire - Experience with team teaching - Proven ability to effectively communicate with children, colleagues, and parents - Commitment to professional growth - Strong interpersonal skills - Enjoys working closely with colleagues from other classrooms/areas of the school to share ideas and problem solve We will begin interviewing qualified candidates immediately.
