Needs a loving, calm home

SoxyCat is about 12 years old. She is a rescue cat and is the sweetest, easiest indoor cat ever. She doesn’t even scratch the furniture! She loves to keep warm and she likes some human contact. She doesn’t shy away, she would just rather say hello and then curl up. She loves to visit and ask for food. She is fine on her own and would never scratch anyone - very calm with children, even young children. She gets a little nervous with big dogs she doesn’t know but currently lives with a dog and is quite comfortable around small-medium sized dogs. She likes a quiet life. SoxyCat is the sweetest. Unfortunately a family member with severe allergies and now we are spending increasingly more time away from home with Soxy staying home on her own has prompted us to think she may be better off in a home that will lessen the amount of her time spent in isolation. We are sad to give Soxy up, but feel that it is what is best for her - less isolation. Care for Soxy includes regular brushes, obviously regular meals :) and her nails clipped every 3 or so weeks - she is calm and never scratches or bites when getting nails clipped, although she doesn’t like it. Soxy is a wonderful cat and deserves a wonderful home . References required .
