This gentle yoga series incorporates targeted mobility exercises, fascia release for the first half of the class. This is followed by restorative yoga poses and relaxation techniques to finish each week. This is a beginner friendly program to all levels and abilities. Although designed with athletes in mind there is no need”be an athlete”. This is a wonderful compliment to an existing training program, or foundation point to support your body as you increase recreation and activity. As a pre-registered series, we will build on each week adapting new movements targeted for athletic and recreation performance in a gentle and mindful way to promote rest and recovery. Expect a “gentle hatha” for the first part of the class, followed by restorative poses and yoga nidra relaxation to close each week.
