The Tohatsu 9.8 is the one you want! It is the lightest 9.8 HP (four-stroke) motor you can get. Pull start short shaft model. This Tohatsu 9.8HP (MFS9.8B) was purchased new from Sherwood Marine in September 2022, and it is still covered by the 5-year warranty. The motor was used on the tender for our sailboat during our 2023 season and has at most 25 hours on it. It is in excellent, ready-to-go condition perfect for your summer vacation. Plus, it comes with a fuel tank and the mounted Stingray AIRO Hydrofoil to help you get on plane even faster. The engine received its first service at Sherwood Marine in December 2023 and has been in storage since. It has new motor oil and new gear oil with 0 hours on them. We are only selling because our family is only getting larger, and we have since purchased another Tohatsu.
