Cloud Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper

Jess & Clark, CPA is a progressive accounting firm offering Tax, Accounting, Bookkeeping and Business Management services. We are looking to hire a cloud accounting technician/bookkeeper to join our Team of kind, fun, and all-round good humans. Our bookkeeping division is 100% in the cloud. We are constantly researching and implementing third party applications to further our ability to service the needs of and provide value to our diverse client base. Job description and responsibilities: - Full cycle bookkeeping for a range of clients, using accounting software Quickbooks Online and related third party applications; - Communication with clients re: queries, support and training as needed; - Tax filings and correspondence with CRA; - Preparation of working papers. Required qualifications and skillsets: - Minimum 1 year of experience using QuickBooks Online (vs Desktop); - Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience; - Strong knowledge of and skills using Excel/Google Sheets; - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; - Ability to form positive relationships with clients and fellow team members; - Excellent English communication skills; - Detail oriented a keen eye on solving puzzles; - Strong technical, technological, and research skills and ability to quickly grasp new technology; - Ability to adapt to change positively in response to evolving needs; circumstances, and service engagements; - Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
