Class 1 driver - Day & Night Shift in Victoria

Pacific Dhaliwal Transport Ltd is a 24/7 Tractor and Trucking service on Vancouver Island and looking for Class 1 truck drivers and owner-operators to get on board for Victoria Location - Night shift (7 PM to 5 AM) Job Duties: To operate the truck and haul 53-foot trailers from Seaspan to the location. Responsible for pre-check, cleanliness, gas, and refill as necessary. Responsible to complete the inspections of trucks and trailers before and after the trips and completing the basic maintenance check for better performance. Hooked and Unhooked trailers from tractors and converted dollies. To ensure to complete transfers at the hub and final destinations to keep track of schedules. To report the timings from start to end to the company timesheets and the warehouse clients. Should possess knowledge of safe driving and emergency The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, hardworking, punctual, and will have excellent customer service skills. Most of the work is pin to pin or one trailer with few stops.
