Hi, Up for sale is my steampunk cafe racer. Extensively customized motorcycle ART based on a 1979 Suzuki GS425. Hand hammered aluminum tank and tail section, copper plated. Most of the rest of the bike has been either copper or brass plated (actual metal plating, NOT paint). Headlight is from a 1950s Ural. Tires, rims, spokes, shocks, chain and sprockets are all new. Front wheel is from a Honda CB350, with drum brake. Bike has been drained of all fluids and prepped for display purposes. It did start and run once the build was completed, but the carbs have never been set up to suit the exhaust changes, and the bike is very uncomfortable...really best suited as a work of art on display, which as what the builder intended. I was planning to hang it from the ceiling in my (very tall) living room, but life has thrown some changes my way and that project is not going to happen. Bike is stored indoors. It is in fantastic cosmetic condition. I will NOT be getting it running before sale. It needs the carbs properly setup by a competent mechanic before it would run. This bike is intended for DISPLAY as artwork. It is entirely up to the buyer if they want to get it running. Dimensions: 75” long to ends of tires Bars 28” wide (they are the widest part of the bike) 40” high to top of headlight switch (highest point) Weight approx 375 - 400 lbs REDUCED to $3,250. Title available. Check out my other ads for more quality items at great prices! PLEASE NOTE I live near the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal. IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN YES, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE!!! NO HOLDS. First come, first served... I negotiate in person. I am definitely willing to put together package deals for a reduced price for multiple items, once you have demonstrated your sincerity by coming out to inspect what is for sale. I will not respond to low ball offers from those who have not yet seen the item in person. Thanks, Doug
