Extremely rare 1988 Nissan Pulsar NX with T-tops, flip-up headlights, five-speed manual transmission, twin-cam 16-valve SE engine, standard sedan notchback plus optional Sportbak. The Pulsar NX, Raphael Orlove wrote on Jalopnik.com, “was possibly the first and maybe the only modular car.” Remove the back and T-tops, and you have a small, fast “tiny pickup truck” that’s great to drive all summer. This rust-free Vancouver Island car has been driven on unsalted roads and stored in a garage or canvas shelter. We believe all equipment and parts except the stereo are original or Nissan replacements. Original paint shows some wear, and a new muffler will eventually be needed. Everything works beautifully except wonky fuel gauge and dashboard light.
