Looking for loved home in need of a new family

Young family looking to purchase older, unique, previously-loved home to fix up and bring back to life. We find ourselves in the extremely fortunate position of having both the time and money to fix up an older home in Victoria or Saanich. We are hoping to make the house we purchase into   our "forever" home where our kids can grow up.   We're looking for .... - a character home or otherwise unique home - 1950's or earlier (flexible)   - somewhere in a bike-friendly or pedestrian   friendly neighborhood - less than or approx. $1,000,000 We are hoping to buy direct, but open to using a realtor.
