Community Inclusion Support Worker Wanted for a Female Resident of Twin Oaks Group Home This 44 year old woman is highly intelligent, witty and determined. She can direct her life and the care and support she requires. She enjoys many things, has several interests, and loves to laugh. She has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair to move about. She is non-verbal and uses a communication device to speak. We are interested in offering this wonderful role to someone who has training/equivalent experience with supporting individuals who: Benefit from 1 to 1 support Use a feeding tube Have experience with personal care Love to help plan fun and meaningful outings with someone they support Has or is wiling to get their Class 4 driver's license (vehicle will be supplied) Loves to go on long walks and read to people, as well a find wonderful ways to support at home or in the community Is available 10:00 to 3:00 or 9:30 to 2:30 Monday to Friday.
