Meet Ginger Kitty. She is a 1984 VW Westfalia. Water cooled, 4 cylinder, manual shift. She sleeps 4 comfortably (we've had 7 in there...), has a 2 burner stove top, a sink and tap, and a fridge. All the comforts you need, while still fitting into a parking spot. Propane system was replaced a 2+ years ago at Fennels, fridge lights every time, right away. The bottom bench seat folds down, providing room for 2 to sleep, and the top pops up and a second bed up top that's a little wider than the lower one. As you can see, she has lots of personality! Canvas is all new 2 years ago, same with the curtains. I have the original curtains still if you'd prefer the original look. Also comes with a mosquito net that snaps onto the back when the rear hatch is open, so you can enjoy the refreshing outdoors without getting eaten by bugs. I loved backing it up right by a river, sleeping with the back open, and listening to the sounds.... There are so many compartments inside; plenty of room to store food, games, dishes and clothes to be ready for any adventure, anytime. She has a closet; it was always handy having extra jackets etc. There are 2 tables that swivel out. She has a total of 4 seat belts, 2 bucket seats up front and a bench in the back. She comes with an awning, the track is already installed. She also comes with the original VW extra room kit. Tires are new 2 years ago, still lots of life left. I have 4 newer rims to go on, just never got them installed. She was mostly driven in summers. Upholstery inside is all original, also have seat covers on there. This vehicle; this bus; this van; this beautiful little wonder, is full of life. She is a magnet for fun; a vessel of love; and she's always ready for any kind of adventure you can imagine. Comes complete with bc parks stickers from 1984, 85 & 86, my personal favourite part.
