Mechanic/Technician - training provided

What can you expect? Training- No previous experience needed! Extensive paid training including the opportunity to work with the newest tools and technology in the automotive industry. An Upper Technician spends: 50% of their time providing Customer Service: - Greeting customers - Discussing products and services with customers - Providing recommendations based on vehicle assessments - Suggesting new products and services - Working with a close-knit team and communicating with Lower Technicians 50% of their time completing Mechanical Duties: - Oil and filter changes - Replacement of vital car fluids (e.g. coolant, transmission, and transfer case fluid) - Replacement of parts under the hood (e.g. air filters, headlights, taillights, and wiper blade replacements) - Refilling performance enhancers to ensure the car runs smoothly (e.g. engine stop leak, oil treatment, and valve cleaner) - Performing courtesy checks on all vehicles (e.g. topping up fluid levels, cleaning windows, and checking tire pressure) - Servicing brakes - Tire install and balancing - Others Minimum experience level required - Learning mindset - Interest in cars/automotive - Physical ability - Mechanically inclined – work with tools Compensation packages, and benefits - Bonus: eligibility after 3-6 months of training complete (potential for % sales; could be average of $2 / hour) - Wage increase after 6 months - Eligibility for medical/dental benefits after 6 months - Free training – apprenticeship type environment - Casual dress for all of our team members - 2 weeks of vacation - Free parking Pay rate: $16.00 to start for Upper Technician To learn more about how Mindfield can help your company find your next great employee, please visit www.mindfieldgroup.com
