LICENCED MECHANIC

We are looking for an experienced licenced mechanic to lead the mechanical division of our shop. Are you looking for a change & the experience to work on a variety of vehicles including customers’ daily drivers, custom lowered cars, raised four-wheel drive trucks, stock classic cars and custom hot rods? DUTIES include: - Provincial mechanical inspections - Regular maintenance & tune ups - Engine & electrical diagnostics - Engine work - Brake repairs - Steering & suspension repairs (stock & custom) - Welding repairs (training provided as needed) - Training apprentices JOB REQUIREMENTS - Provincial Certificate of Qualification - BC Vehicle Inspector (or willing to take the course) - Must have own tools - Valid BC Driver’s Licence - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Attention to detail - Amazing attitude PAY AND BENEFITS - $30 - $40 per hour - Dental - Extended Health - Life Insurance - Short term disability - Long term disability - Ongoing training program If you are interested in joining our team, please email your resume to vicframe@shaw.ca
