ARTBOX PRINTING/ PUNK AND LOO Job Title: PICTURE FRAMER’S ASSISTANT Location: UPPER DOUGLAS Artbox Printing/Punk & Loo Pet Portraits is looking to welcome a Part-time customer service all-star to the Picture Framing team at our facility in Saanich! Our ideal candidate brings a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a “get the job done” attitude. If you’re looking to change gears and learn a new trade we would love to hear from you! The job: • You’ll work with our 35 year experienced framer to learn how to design and assemble amazing custom frames for customers to take home and enjoy. • When there’s time your duties will also include; o Order follow-up. o Production support. o Prepping ready frames. o Tidying up. The schedule: • Monday through Saturday. • Flexible hours for people with children. • Available hours are 3 to 4 days a week with 1 Saturday per month required. About you: • You’re friendly and can engage customers. • You smile often. • You have no problem digging in to get the job done when needed. • You can work under pressure and prioritize small details. • You work with a team or by yourself with minimal supervision. • You take Covid 19 seriously and follow Health and safety directives. • You like to have fun! The requirements: • Experience with basic hand and shop tools an asset. • Able to safely bend, twist, reach and lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis. • Able to walk and stand for the duration of a shift. • Ability to maintain a safe workspace and follow established safety procedures.
