$18 · Server/Service Staff Supervisor - Upscale retirement condo

We are seeking to hire a Server/Shift Supervisor for Saturday dinner shifts 4pm - Midnight, (Some Sundays) at our 55+ Independant Living Condo. (we are not a care home) We also have 2 or 3 server shifts if you are interested (4:30 - 8:30pm), plus vacation or sick day coverage for the Services Manager a few days here and there on weekdays. Training under the guidance or our Services Manager, the Shift Supervisor will learn to oversee the evening meal, ensuring all safety protocols are followed, cleaning is done properly and helps with the dinner service. This position has a larger responsibilty of being in control of any emergencies, and offering first aid and calling 911 if and when necessary. Acts as reception for the building, answers the phone, as well as overseeing the dinner service. You are able to reach out to a Manager for Guidance anytime during your shift by telephone. Requirements and Certifications needed: *Grade 12 completion *Adult first aid w/CPR *Food Safe Level 1 or equivalent *Mature, and responsible *Speaks fluent English *Follows directions well *Team Player Job Description: *Reads a Communication Binder *Carries a pager for First Aid calls *Responsed to pager alerts for first aid. Calling 911 *Makes tea and coffee *Works with the Chef to Organize trays for meals in suites *Serves Tea and Coffee during dinner *Ensures distancing and Covid Restrictions are followed *Helps the Service staff with the dinner service *Has dinner with the Servers after the residents are finished, seating 6ft apart or at separate tables. *After dirty dishes are removed, washes table clothes, folds and puts away. *Does rounds of the building for security and safety. *Ensures all Service staff complete thier tasks before leaving. *Helps sanitize work areas after dinner, cleans up the Coffee and Tea area. *Sanitizes and re supplies the washroom. *During Covid signs in any visitors.
