We are looking for someone to join our little team! We travel to both residential and commercial properties in order to maintain and/or install beautiful gardens. Our company believes in utilizing science-based practices to best support the ecosystems (gardens) we work in. While working as a team to bring joy to our clients, our aim is to bring a desire to improve to each work day. I am looking to partially transition from working full time in the field to part time in order to dedicate more time for design and other office work. Therefore, I am seeking a horticulturally experienced, responsible, and motivated candidate who can both lead the small team in my absence and follow my lead when we are all together. The position would be temporarily part time until I am able to offer full time. I am really interested in working with someone who is keen on furthering their horticulture knowledge and skill. As a Red Seal Journey(wo)man, I am able to sponsor someone interested in completing or starting their apprenticeship. I love providing my fellow plant nerds with the ability to live their passion while I take care of the business aspect. I am looking for someone who: o Holds a minimum two years of experience in the landscape industry. o Possesses the capacity to take responsibility for personal learning. o Possesses strong leadership skills. o Understands customer needs and delivers services to effectively meet them. o Possesses the capacity to provide feedback, receive feedback and implement suggested improvements. o Implements high ethical standards; show respect; admit mistakes; and honour personal commitments. o Is capable of regular physical work. o Holds a class 5 valid driver’s licence. o Possesses excellent time management skills.
