We are looking for help to care for our mother with advanced Dementia afternoons from 4:00-8:00pm 3-5 days per week includes weekends. Mom loves to listen to country music she used to be a country singer in a band most of her life:) and likes to play cards as well (Crib). She lives independently in our suite but needs lots of support. There will be light cleaning mostly a few dishes and minor tidying up and some warming of meals as well as getting her ready for bed. Mostly she needs a kind hearted person to keep her company and keep her engaged in minor activities and seated exercises. Mom lives in Metchosen and we would prefer someone in the western communities area. Experience with Dementia and the elderly would be an asset but not a necessity for the right fit.
