Pack Leader needed for dog adventure hikes

Peak Dog is hiring! We are looking for a dedicated full time pack leader to join the team. What we are looking for in an employee: •Dedicated and hard working •Passionate about dog behaviour and training •Some knowledge of dog behaviour and body language •Experience in the industry is preferred but not necessary as we will train the right candidate •Physically able to hike/run on a mountain and trails for up to 2 hours a day rain or shine •Physically able to control up to 8 dogs at once •Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers record •Strong work ethic and problem solving skills •Ability to work independently •Must have an up to date smart phone to communicate and take photos with •Have a clean criminal record About the position: •35-40 hours per week •Wage based on experience •Salary packages available •Driving to and from clients homes to pick up/drop off their dogs •Hiking for an hour twice a day •Full benefits available after probationary period •We are a mobile company and you will start at a new location most days •Monday to Friday 815-415 •Option for occasional weekend overnight pet sitting opportunities if wanted We are looking for someone who is willing and wants to learn about dog training and behaviour. After training, you will be expected to safely manage up to 8 dogs off leash. Along with training new dogs basic obedience and recall on the hikes.
