Job description This position has adapted through the past few months to include two main components: Teaching individual lessons in students’ homes and online lessons. Teachers drive their own vehicles to students’ houses and earn a per-lesson wage. Set your own schedule but know that most lessons will take place Weekdays – primarily afternoons and early evenings. Preference given to teachers with basic proficiency in multiple instruments. Currently seeking teachers for piano, guitar, bass, ukulele and voice. Our organization handles all of the scheduling, payment, marketing and administration. Just show up and teach. *These are independent contractor positions.* Responsibilities Must have your license Must have a reliable vehicle Experience teaching music is preferred Solid understanding of music fundamentals including theory, rhythm, dynamics, standard notation, improvisation, etc. Knowledge of educational principles, how to assess different types of learners, how to build relationships, constructive feedback, managing learning goals, etc. Good repertoire of popular music to teach to all levels of experience.
