Intact 7 month old male Blue Heeler looking for a new, loving home. He has had all of his vaccines and is up to date on deworming. We can also offer his vaccination certificate; the only vaccine he hasn't had is Lyme. Otherwise he's up to date on Da2ppv, Lepto, Bordetella, and Rabies. He is up to date on his flea and tick medication, and will be coming with a few months worth of Heartgard. He will also come with his favorite toys, bedding, food and water bowls, and food. He currently eats T/D Hills Prescription Diet (chicken flavoured), as it's good for his teeth. It's only sold at veterinary clinics, and I hope you keep him on this diet as it's good for his health as well and is not full of unnecessary fillers. He requires a large, fenced backyard (farm with open space to run preferred) as we believe he would do well as a working dog instead of just as a companion dog since he is extremely high energy and can become destructive when bored or not exercised enough. He hasn't been exposed to many children, so we're unsure of how he would behave around them. He is quite weary of strangers and strongly reacts to cyclists, as Blue Heelers are known to do, and so he needs a strong, assertive but loving owner. Preferably looking for someone who has owned a Blue Heeler before, and knows what they're all about, as this breed is loyal yet extremely stubborn. He's only been in a single dog household, but on walks he shows extreme interest and playfulness with all other dogs who match his energy level. He has never shown signs of dog aggression, so he may take to a household who already owns a dog. Serious inquiries only, please.
