Job Description: We are looking for an Office Administrator with strong bookkeeping skills to join our small family-oriented office that provides services to local grocery stores within the community. The successful candidate's primary functions of this position are invoicing and accounts payable, financial reporting, and all other office administrative duties. This is a sole office role. Qualifications: The minimum criteria for application is 3 years of previous experience in bookkeeping/accounting. Proven knowledge of Sage50 is required. The successful incumbent will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Possesses experience and complete understanding of payroll that includes unionized workers. The incumbent must have a high degree of comfort transitioning and working in Cloud based programs and applications. Duties and Responsibilities: * Contract oversight and liaison with contractors and service providers * Prepare invoices and maintain client database * Preparation of payables and payment processing * Preparation of semi-monthly payroll * Preparation of all CRA, PST, PHT, Worksafe , etc. while meeting mandated deadlines * Working knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Well-developed written skills * Demonstrates Customer Service * MS Suite (Word, Excel) proficiency * Database management and application tracking Offering $22.00 per hour, and great benefits package. Working Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm. Paid holidays and vacation.
